Stamp information: Catholicism was introduced into Viet Nam in the first decades of the sixteenth century, with many activities associated with cultural integration, especially in regional and national culture.
In the material culture, the adaptation, integration and acculturation with the indigenous culture of the Catholic culture is evident in the field of architecture, focusing mainly on the church, from the master plan organization, architectural forms, structural solutions to fine art decoration and use of materials. So far, the number of Vietnamese churches is quite large and stretching across regions, considered as architectural works showing a unique European-Asian combination.
To introduce a variety of architectural works in Viet Nam, the Ministry of Information and Communications issues the stamp set "Church Architecture", including 04 stamps and 01 block, with the face values of 4,000 VND; 4,000 VND; 4,000 VND; 15,000 VND and 15,000 VND, introducing some typical churches in Viet Nam: Phat Diem Cathedral (Ninh Binh), Da Nang Cathedral, Mac Bac Church (Tra Vinh), Kon Tum Cathedral and Saint Joseph Cathedral of Ha Noi.
Stamp size: 43 x 32 (mm), 32 x 43 (mm).
Souvenir sheet size: 80 x 105 (mm).
FDC size: 190 x 110 (mm).

The stamp set is issued on December 24, 2022.
