43 Years old SINGAPORE PASSPORT 1981-1986
Meet Ms Isabel Rodrigues who was all her life a school principal in two different schools.
When this passport was issued in 1981, Isabel was the Principal of Convent of Our Lady of Good Counsel School (1977-1984).
Before this appointment, she headed (1956-1976) the primary section which became a feeder school to Town Convent in Victoria Street. She is remembered for the care and affection given to those who came under her charge.
Mrs Rodrigues joined Sr Marie Jombunad and Mrs Margaret Joseph as three of the longest serving principals in the history of St. Theresa's.
The passport was NOT VALID FOR: China, North Korea, Democratic Kampuchea, Laos, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (love the old Cold War definitions/names).
However, she got later on an endorsement for China and went to Hong Kong. Furthermore, there is a stamp related to her previous passport. A great piece of Singaporean passport history!
